DESIRE: Teens Desiring God

As we launch this new year, the Sr. High teens of Bethel will be defining themselves by the name, “Desire.” Based on Psalm 63:8, “My soul followeth hard after thee,” and Psalm 42:1, “As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God,” our youth group will exist to support parents to raise teens that desire God. Here in our youth group teens can find a desire for God or have their desire fed and grown! Pray for the teens of Bethel as they seek to desire God.

Join us on Wednesday nights @ 7 PM for a time where we can come together to worship and learn about God and apply what they learn to everyday life.

Wednesday Nights

Each Wednesday Night we have a time of singing, prayer time, preaching, and a game for the teens. Before the service starts, you have time to play on the game tables or hang out and talk.  Here are a few pictures from a regular Wednesday Night:

Summer Camps

For those who are interested in sending you child to camp, registration forms are still available for The Anchorage  for June 25th-30th (3rd-6th Grade) and The Wilds for July 2nd-7th (7th-12th Grade). Please contact the church office for forms and more information. These camps are a great place for spiritual growth and making Christian friends.

Memories of The Wilds 2011

July 4th-9th, 22 teen campers and 4 chaperons headed to the WILDS christian camp. The preaching was excellent and hearts were challenged to change throughout the week. Decisions that were made included: assurance of salvation, rededication of life to God, and commitments to do daily devotions. Thank you for your prayers, God blessed as the week brought many teens into a deeper relationship with Him.

Sock Hockey

A little glimpse of the teens during a game of Sock Hockey.
